Our two-bedroomed 1890 terraced home is cosy, quiet, and surrounded by stunning scenery. The Hope Valley attracts walkers, climbers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts. Padley Gorge and the National Trust Longshaw Estate are a few minute’s walk. Grindleford Train station is on your doorstep, as is the famous Grindleford Cafe. Grindleford has a thriving community shop that stocks artisan bread, local produce and homemade cakes, preserves and honey. The space Our cottage, situated at the bottom of Padley Gorge, is in the small hamlet of Upper Padley, on the outskirts of Grindleford. The house is uncluttered, light & airy, but also homely and cosy with a log burner and comfortable sofas, cushions and throws - the perfect place to relax after enjoying what the Peak District has to offer. The cottage has off-road parking for one vehicle, a kitchen with free-standing wooden furniture, an open-plan living and dining space. Private garden with picnic bench, and many colourful plants and flowers. Modern bathroom with no bath, but large walk-in shower. Bedroom with comfortable double bed. Washer & tumble dryer. No dish-washer. 5-ring induction hob & double oven. Guest access There is off-road parking for one vehicle at the property. Grindleford train station is a two-minute walk from the house, with easy links to Sheffield and Manchester. Other things to note Two bedrooms are available, please let us know if you would like the second bedroom making up.
