The Saint-Vio House
Description
Located just a stone's throw from the famous chapel of Saint Vio and its miraculous fountain, Céline's house was built in the middle of nature facing the ocean. A true haven of peace where it's good to rest and unwind. Nestled in the heart of a huge protected natural area that is home to remarkable fauna and flora, many trails and hikes await nature lovers. Not to mention our local sport: surfing! Where beautiful waves roll right next to the house! The space Welcome to Celine! Located in Tréguennec in the bay of Audierne, this pretty single-story house, entirely made of wood, was designed to accommodate a small family in love with nature and the sea. Bright and warm from the entrance room to the bathroom! The house, totally glazed, is quickly immersed in a real bath of light when the Breton sun is out (that is to say very often :-)). The poplar option on the walls/ceiling and the addition of carpets everywhere bring a lot of warmth and cocooning to the house. Very attached to her home and her interior, we find in Celine's decor her taste for travel and her passion for surfing. It's punchy but not too much, refined but warm! The house is practical and quite easy to get around: The main room: - Offers a real seating area where you can lounge by listening to your playlist thanks to the speaker left at your disposal or by escaping in front of a good film (a TV will be at your disposal). - To cook good dishes, a kitchen open to the living room and its dining table (4 guests) and fully equipped: oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, dishes... The little extra: Celine left you her spices and a cookbook, so feel free to use them:-) The sleeping area: - The parents' room on one side (160x200 bed - a 3-drawer dresser with small wardrobe), the kids' room on the other (2 90x200 single bunk beds - a small wardrobe with 3 shelves). Everyone has their own quiet space and their own cocoon. Special mention for the 100% linen bedding in which you will sleep like a baby! The French windows of the bedrooms have mosquito nets. The water area: - The bathroom communicates to both bedrooms. Very spacious and bright, it is equipped with a shower, a sink with storage unit, a low shelf with laundry tray and 3 shelves and a toilet. A translucent plastic bin is available for rinsing wetsuits. Outside: - Large garden space with wooden terrace equipped with a dining table for good meals or just lounging on a deckchair after a good day of surfing or beach. Presence of an outdoor water jet to rinse little feet full of sand, a translucent plastic tray to soak the wetsuits and presence of 4 hooks on the structure of the house to dry them away from the sun. For the comfort of all, the house is equipped with: > hand soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry capsules, dishwashing liquid, everyday cleaning products. > basic condiments: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, some spices, some herbs for cooking (picked in Provence), some tea bags and coffee capsules. All this is included in the nightly price 😉 Guest access The 50 m2 house is all yours, the garden all around is at your disposal. Parking is private to the accommodation. The house is surrounded by pastures regularly occupied by pretty brown and gray cows. Other things to note Dear guests, in this charming corner of heaven, mobile phone and internet networks are sometimes capricious. Mobile network is minimum at home (no or little 4G), calls and texts are possible but nothing else. The house also has a fiber optic internet box but I don't guarantee the connection. There are coworking spaces within 15 minutes of the house. The coastal area is rich in wetlands (heaths, ponds), biodiversity is rich, this includes mosquitoes. For your convenience, I provide Pyrell repellent electrical outlets and insecticidal spray for the rooms (stored in the TV cabinet). In the pharmacy, in the bathroom furniture, I have available mosquito repellent body spray. The 2 French windows of the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets. Mosquitoes come out at sunset, remember to close the bay windows and open the bedroom doors to ventilate the house without being bitten by these charming little insects. There is also a fan and the living room is equipped with a reversible heating block for air conditioning. This allows the house to be heated in cool weather and cooled in hot weather.
