Sat under ancient oak trees at the foot of the Blackdown hills, our luxury shepherd’s hut is the perfect place to escape and enjoy the beautiful Somerset countryside. The space Our shepherd’s hut was built by the master hut makers at Ashwood Shepherd Huts. When it comes to quality we believe no one else comes close. We wanted to create a hut that was large enough to accommodate all the requirements of modern living but also retain the feel of a traditional shepherds’s hut which we believe we have achieved with the stunning fully fitted kitchen, luxurious walk in shower room, king sized bed with panoramic views and cosy log burner next to the dining area. The hut is positioned under ancient oak trees with stunning views from all angles across open countryside which can be enjoyed from our bespoke tree deck that surrounds one of the oak trees next to the hut. We have a wood fired hot tub with jets offering guests the chance to wallow under the stars and an outside patio area with facilities for BBQing and relaxing. Guest access Guests can reach the hut by following a small private track leading from the road down to where the hut is positioned. There is parking next to the hut. Other things to note All firewood for the log burner, hot tub and fire pit will be provided by us at no extra cost. On your arrival you will also find freshly laid eggs, a pint of milk, homemade jam, bread and all other kitchen essentials.
