Stay in one of our two shepherds huts and enjoy the splendour of the national park. Situated alongside walking routes & the 'Rail Trail' former railway of 1836 which takes you on a wonderful adventure around the beauty of the park across rivers, streams, waterfalls & all that nature provides. We offer a piece of country life in our Shepherd huts. Ideal for those who want to escape, we are completely off the beaten track! Switch off & relax back to nature. The space Owl was born in 2021, and sits adjacent to Woodpecker, both hand-built in the North of England. She is 17ft long which creates spacious accommodation to relax and sleep as the real adventure awaits in the National Park. We are visited by local deer and are a bird lovers' paradise. We offer an outdoor seating. For those wanting to relax after a long day on the trails, each hut has a private Hot tub. With the Steam Trains whistling through the valley, a journey awaits to put the busy world behind you. Guest access The listing is for the entire Shepherds hut, outdoor area and private hot tub which guests will have exclusive access to. Other things to note • We do not accept third party bookings (the person booking must be the person staying). • We are accessed via an uneven farm track. Sheep or cows may be grazing in the field and chickens roam wild, please drive with care. • If you do not wish to use the hot tub, please enquire before booking for a discount.
