It's next to the large winding river Teith (where local beavers, birdlife and deer can be spotted). From the front door , there are superb local walks and cycle rides (we offer bike hire). If you want rural seclusion in a beautiful setting , this is the place for you. You are a 10 minute drive from Bridge of Allan, an old spa town offering many boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Bridge of Allan also has a supermarket and train station with direct lines to; Stirling, Edinburgh , Glasgow and Perth. The local towns of Dunblane and Doune are a 10 minute drive and it's a 25 minute drive to the mountains and lochs of the Trossachs range - for amazing walks, cycles and swimming. Here are just some of the local attractions (all within 30 mins drive): Doune Castle, Dunblane Cathedral, Deanston Distillery, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Stirling Castle and old town, the Trossachs mountains, and the Gleneagles resort.
