Cedar: Stone cottage with shared pool & sauna

Cedar cottage is a wonderfully cosy cottage and is the perfect place to come and spoil yourself for a week's stay or long weekend. The comfortably furnished, open-plan lounge and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen is on the ground floor. Upstairs is the spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed, a small dressing room and en suite bathroom which has a bath with shower over. We can provide a travel cot and highchair or a toddler bed (extra charge) if needed. The space Cedar Cottage is a beautifully converted Grade II listed stone cottage. It has an open plan kitchen/dining/living room with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It has a flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player as well as free wifi. Guest access Cedar Cottage is located at Newhouse Farm Cottages, a beautiful complex of converted barns set in 30 acres of farmland for guests to explore. We have an indoor games room, heated indoor swimming pool, traditional sauna, free wifi throughout, outdoor children's play areas, 9-hole crazy golf course and a small fishing lake which is all available for guests to use. The pool and games room both operate on a booking system with each cottage having a minimum of 2 x45 minute private sessions per day (except departure day). Footpaths wind steeply down to the river and lake, offering quiet corners and picnic spots. As the land is not actively farmed and is free from pesticides and fertilisers we have an abundance of wildlife - including the resident badgers, barn owls, hares and deer.
