Wilderness Cabin 2

Cabin 2 has 2 rooms, 1 with double bed, 1 bunk, the other, kitchenette and lounge, with views of pastures and mountains. Kitchenette is simple, yet adequate for simple cooking. There is a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 1 min walk from the cabin. While there is no Wi fi in the cabins. Wifi is available and limited to the area around the main house in reception, lounge and dining area. The space SIBA (Sakya International Buddhist Academy) is a retreat centre owned by the Tibetan Buddhist society of Canberra. The organization is run by volunteers as is SIBA. Through out the year Buddhist and non buddhist events are held. in between guest come and stay for getaways, stopovers and personal retreats. This unique and tranquil environment is perfect for rest and relaxation, a getaway in the heart of Gipplsand. It is Perfectly suited for intentional relaxation. Guest access Included in the nightly rate for accommodation is access to the commercial kitchen, communal dining lounge areas, shrine room, yoga / mediation space, wifi, library and 108 acres of grounds to walk and explore. Wifi is only available and limited to the area around the Main house in reception, lounge and dining area. Other things to note All guest have access to all the centre amenities. this Includes the main kitchen, the dining lounge area, the the shrine room, the yoga meditation space, Library and Laundry (for a fee, please see management if you need to do laundry). The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 1- 2 min walk from the cabins. All cabins have a small gas stove, rice cooker, toaster, kettle, and bar fridge. In the Cabins Heating during colder weather is provided with wood stove, fire wood is included in the cost. Though we do our best to also provide Kindling you may need to collect it yourself. Motel rooms have their own electric heaters. Guests in Motel room will need to use the main kitchen, for cold storage and cooking. Linen and towels are provided.
