Casa Santa Maria

Hidden away in the centro storico of beautiful Irsina is Casa Santa Maria. The recently beautifully refurbished three bedroom house boasts many of the characteristics of these historic buildings with brick vaulted ceilings and arches, retaining its character with modern comfort. As well as three large bedrooms Casa Santa Maria has a sitting room, modern kitchen, dining room with patio, and two bathrooms. Upstairs it has a large well sheltered terrace with glorious views, as well as a laundry. The space "Un angolo di paradiso!!" A typical day during your stay: After a night of restful sleep wake up in one of the comfortable beds in Casa Santa Maria and have coffee and cornetti on the kitchen patio. After breakfast you can explore the old town, have a tasty Italian lunch with local fresh produce at a cafe or restaurant, or take a day trip to the beach or to one of the many historic sites and towns close by. Alternatively you may want to spend your day sunning yourself and enjoying lunch with some good local wine on the open terrace, or set off for a walk or cycle in the stunning countryside that surrounds Irsina. In the evening enjoy stuzzichini and a glass (or two) of spritz or prosecco on the terrace watching the sunset, or in the comfortable lounge, followed by a meal prepared by yourself in the modern fully equipped kitchen, or taking a leisurely stroll to one of the restaurants in town to enjoy wonderful Italian cuisine. Guest access Casa Santa Maria is fully serviced with guests met by my good friend Christa on arrival. Capable of sleeping seven it may be rented for a minimum of two nights. An additional one-off cleaning service fee of €75 is added to the rental amount. Check in is up to 6.00pm (later can be arranged with prior notice) and check out no later than 11.00am. Other things to note Parking The centro storico of Irsina has very narrow cobblestone streets many of which are not accessible to vehicles. This adds to the character and ambience of the old town. It is therefore not possible to park directly outside Casa Santa Maria. Free parking is however available at Piazza San Francesco only 160 metres from the house (about a three minute walk), or if you have a small vehicle it is possible to park in Largo San Vito which is about 70 metres from the house (a one minute walk).
