Beautiful flat in a quiet corner of the West End

Beautiful, spacious flat, situated in a quiet corner of Glasgow's West End. The open plan living room and mezzanine kitchen's airy feel, make for a lovely social space perfect for a couple, or friends on holiday, or travelling for work. Double bed in the master bedroom, and sofa bed in the living room. Within ten minutes walk from vibrant Byres Road, Hyndland Road & Great Western Road. Free off road parking. The space Welcome to my home! My name is Catriona and I'm a musician on tour a lot of the time with my two bands Twelfth Day and Fara. I am so lucky to have this beautiful flat to come home to when I'm off the road, and love to have nice people living in it when I'm away. The flat is a very sociable, open space - originally one big drawing room, back when the building was first built in the 1800s, the mezzanine renovation was put in to maximise the space. Now the flat boasts full length (very) high ceilings, alongside more cosy spaces - the best of both worlds! I love being right beside the cornasing in the kitchen - kind of surreal. Guest access You have access to the whole flat, except my bedroom up in the loft. That's where I put all the stuff I've "tidied" away. Do not open the hatch for fear of avelanche ;) There is a wood burning stove in the living room. Please feel free to use it, but please don't put coal in it, or the chimney will become blocked. I'm afraid I'm not able to provide fire wood. The flat has ground floor access, but all the windows are second floor, so very safe. Beware of the steep stairs up to the kitchen!
