The house is accessed through a private road that leads to Lysterfield Park – a space perfect for hiking, bike riding, and reconnecting with nature. The park contains a variety of wildlife and a lake for canoeing, kayaking or sailing. What to do after a day of adventure? The balcony offers a spectacular sight of the landscape where you can have outdoor meals and sleep under the stars! We provide outdoor cooking facilities like a woodfire oven, BBQ grill and wood-burning wok. There are also two friendly alpacas that await your visit. So what are you waiting for? Guest access It's a 3-minute walk to a private Lysterfield park entrance that leads to the Native track and Donelan track where guests can enjoy hiking and mountain bike riding with beautiful views and wildlife. It's a 5-minute drive from a petrol station that offers Subway, Nando's, Domino's and Coles express. In just another 5 minutes you'll reach Wellington village which has all the essential shops. Guests have access to a wide variety of facilities we provide. We will also take requests for special services and equipment. Other things to note Our hobby farm grows a traditional Chinese medicine herb named Mugwort. The benefits range from soothing digestive discomforts when ingested to insect repellent and relaxing the body. This is why we offer a mugwort-themed stay that includes everything from mugwort pillows that helps insomnia, to desserts and tea made from mugwort to improve digestion and boost energy. There is also a space for Moxibustion – a practice that stimulates acupuncture points with heat and the herb’s chemical compounds.
