Bathroom bathroom with shower , toilet and sink Guest access The Dollhouse in Granja (15klms do Porto), is a paradise by the sea, with a direct exit to a spectacular beach and situated in a wonderful garden with a large lawn and immense trees. Even at the exit to the beach there is a magnificent 15klms walkway for a delicious walk. It is very close to three golf courses: Miramar (9 holes) 20 minutes on foot, Golfe de Espinho (18 holes) at 5klms and Fojo (9 holes) at 7klms. Public transport is easy and frequent, the train station is 6 minutes from the house and the journey takes 24 minutes to the center of Porto. There are good supermarkets just a 10-minute walk and a 3/4-minute drive away and a wide variety of restaurants many of them offer a take-away service. Two municipal pools are 60 meters away with indoor and outdoor pool. Espinho is a city 5 km away with all the conditions and services -hospital - casino - restaurants and a variety of shops. The Monday market is one of the largest and most famous markets in Portugal. On the 1st Sunday of the month there is the antiques and velvets fair. Thorn is 3 minutes away by train. Other things to note We are in the Atlantic Ocean. The sea water is sometimes cold, which makes its fish magnificent. It is a beach with a lot of iodine and sometimes the sun is very intense, requiring a sunscreen with high protection. As of December 1, 2018, the city tax went into effect in Vila Nova de Gaia.
