Set in an acre of gardens with access if wished to play with the family tame goats, sheep and chickens including collecting the eggs! This beautiful farmhouse is in a rural setting up an accessible if bumpy track. No busy roads to worry about, just absolute tranquility. The views and sunsets are magnificent over the rolling Lancashire plain. This is a dream family home. The bedrooms comprise of: Top floor: Master suite: Superking bed and en-suite bathroom and dressing room. Middle floor: Bed 2: A twin or the beds can be conjoined to form a king size bed, walk in wardrobe. Bed 3: The jungle mural bedroom, double bed and a bunk that would suit a teenager Bed 4: Double Bed Large family bathroom Ground floor: A further full single bed is located in the games room which in my opinion would suit a young adult or teenager, with the downstairs loo close by. Guest access There’s parking for at least 4 cars on the gated driveway. The village is 1.5 miles away including a train station that goes directly into Manchester and Leeds. There is another train 3 miles away that takes you to Liverpool and Preston. Several great country pubs are within easy walking distance. The Leeds Liverpool canal is in the village with access to day hire narrowboats too. Other things to note As well as the games room which has a half size snooker and pool table, projector for films and music videos.There’s also badminton and croquet available to set up on the lawn. New for the summer will be a fire pit and bbq area within the secluded Summer Eating Garden, where the sun sets over the whole area. It’s totally magical. There is also narrow boat trips and kayaking available in the village. Also there are fabulous walks and hiking right from the farmhouse so no need to even get in the car! I have pet goats, sheep and chickens next to the farmhouse that are hand reared and love to be played with if you would like to.
