Every window and every angle offers impressive views of the garden, and watery vistas across the Bay to Mornington Peninsula and Queenscliff. The kitchen, with walk in pantry, is well appointed for those who love to cook. It's generously stocked with all necessary basics. An extensive herb garden is at your disposal. For your comfort, cooling and heating (split systems) on both levels and stylish cellular blackout blinds ensure extra insulation from the weather and light. In winter cozy up in front of a warm wood fire (firewood provided). The living area and kitchen are upstairs alongside two double bedrooms and a central bathroom with separate toilet. The large bedroom downstairs offers a second living space with TV and its own access to the garden, a perfect getaway for you or the kids. The second shower and toilet services this room and doubles as a convenient place for washing off the salt after a day at the beach. Quality bedding, linen and towels are provided. The garden is vast offering shady spots, sunny spots, fruity spots and play spots for kids. There's ample off street parking, including a covered carport for your cars and boat. It's only a 5 minute stroll to the beach where you can find your own swimming spot or take a short walk to the St Leonards Yacht club which offers a summer cafe and bar - a great place to watch the tiny timber Heron boats catch the breeze. Or for the nature lovers, Swan Bay - Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve walking/biking tracks are at the end of the street. Throw a line over the popular St Leonards Pier or snorkel about watching the delightful seahorses floating and bobbing. Better still launch your boat for a day on the Bay. And don't forget the many great wineries and eateries dotted across the Bellarine. Portarlington, Drysdale are a 10-minute drive away and both offer excellent Sea Food outlets. The Portarlington Ferry runs daily services to Melbourne's Docklands. Indented Heads is a 10 minute drive or 30-minute cycle and also offers great swimming and snorkelling. For day trips further afield, there are the many attractions along the Great Ocean Road. Other things to note No smoking. No pets. 6 people maximum. No single beds offered. All 3 beds are queen size. All beds have mattress protectors. For young children please also provide your own dry mattress protectors in case of accidents. Please note there is no safety gate to staircase to prevent access for children. No candle burning. Please note a gardner attends the property to water garden between 7-9am for 30 mins on hot weather days as required.
