This building, which was originally the HQ of the United Fruit Company, then three diplomatic consulates and the Tropical Radio & Telegraph Company still retains the enchantment of the old Bocas del Toro days. The space The Owners Apartment at The Gran Hotel Bahia is at the rear of the hotel, allowing privacy and cosiness whilst enjoying the services of a hotel, such as weekly cleaning, security, hotel facilities, and the best location in Bocas on the exciting vibrant main strip, full of interesting coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Across the road is a boat taxi station from where you can pop across to Carenero Island for lunch for just $2 per person, or perhaps to the Floating Bar for a sunset cocktail, or take a day tour to see the dolphins and go island hopping for $25. The master bedroom has an adjoining children's nursery bedroom with a cot and a sofa bed. There is a launderette service for $10 per load. The hotel has a 24 hour reception. There is a fantastic Italian restaurant at the front of the hotel with the best pizza and burgers in town who can deliver to the apartment on request. Other things to note Please note, the master bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a double bed with a half bathroom (no shower or bath). The third bedroom has 2x single beds and a full bathroom with shower.
