Charming cellar / 18th century

Listed as a historical monument, Pignan is a medieval village near Montpellier. You are staying in an old 18th-century sheepfold with beautiful pointed-arch vaults. The walls were built using lime and Pignan stone. It is a large room of about 20 m² designed for 2 people. This unique property is located on the ground floor of our house, located on a quiet pedestrian street in the city center and close to small shops. The space Our winery is a good base for exploring the region. The city, the sea, the river and the countryside offer a wide range of activities close to the village. 30 minutes away or less: The beaches of Palavas and Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, as well as Montpellier city center and the Pont du Diable River (canoeing) and the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but also the charming village of Bouzigues. Less than an hour away: You can enjoy the lunar landscapes of Lake Salagou, the turquoise waters of Lake Cécélès, the town known as "the singular one": Sète, as well as the town of Molière, Pézenas. We've put together a very short guide to what we like (outings/restaurants). 🪴 There is no terrace or balcony. 🚗 A vehicle is essential for getting around. 📞 There is no cell phone reception, but you can use WhatsApp. ☕️ For breakfast, there is a Tassimo coffee machine (a few pods available), hot chocolate powder, sugar, herbal teas, and tea. 🚿 The shower room is suitable for shorter people, but taller people are welcome (see pictures). Towels are provided. 🍽️ You can reheat a dish and eat, but not cook (condiments provided) ❄️ Small, very noisy portable air conditioner not suitable for the cellar but effective, which is why it is not listed in the amenities 🏖️ Beach kit: sarong, parasol, deckchair 🚬 Smokers: A small table and 2 chairs are available :) Please use the ashtray! 👶 Baby bed + sheets: additional charge of €5/day. This is a single room, and it will not be possible to put your baby in a separate room. 🛌 Possibility of making the sofa bed into a bed UPON REQUEST, at an ADDITIONAL charge of €10 for children under 10 years old (it is small and 110 cm wide). 📅 If you are interested in our studio for a period not shown on the calendar, you can submit a request for information for the dates in question. ⚠️ Reminder: Everything provided must be returned at the end of the stay. Anything missing (hairdryer, towels, slippers, hygiene and cleaning products, pillows, beach equipment, etc.) will be the subject of a refund request and a procedure with Airbnb.
