Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood. The space The house has one main seperate bedroom and a wooden bifold that opens to create a second bedroom by splitting the living room space. There is a full kitchen with single drawer dishwasher, microwave, gas stove top, and electric fan forced oven. Fully stocked with pots pans and utensils to cook up a storm. It has a private courtyard with an outdoor bath with plumbed hot water and a productive herb garden. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the house, car park and courtyard. Guests are able to access the rooftop garden and visit the chickens that live on the terrace above. While the roof edge is fenced active supervision of children is needed in this space.
