"The Barn” at Stoop Farm

"The Old Shippon" at Stoop Farm is a modern barn conversion sleeping at least 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms all with private bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area gives you all you need to unwind and relax in this spectacular corner of the Peak District National Park overlooking Chrome Hill. Footpaths lead you directly into one of the most dramatic landscapes of the peaks. Stoop farm is in a beautiful secluded location yet only 15mins from the spa town of Buxton. Guest access Access to the property is down a 300 yard unpaved road, with ample parking in the farm yard. Other things to note We do accept one well behaved dog per booking, please see the house rules / additional rules for further details. The farm is constantly looking at ways of reducing its impact on the environment, the first phase of this is a move away from gas and oil. The whole site is heated by a newly installed ground source heat pump. In the future we will be looking at making more use of solar and wind power. In the meantime our electricity provider predominantly used renewables for our supply. Off grid living is our ultimate aim.
