The Hut. A Unique Gem In West Pennard, Glastonbury

The Hut is a 2 bedroom fully equipped gem based in the peaceful village of West Pennard, Glastonbury. A tranquil spot with breathtaking views surrounded by the countryside which sets the scene for long walks, and family time. An opportunity to relax in truly individual cosy decor. An outdoor al fresco patio area perfect for dining together. Walking distance to a super Gastro Pub, The Lion and close to the famous Tor and Chalice Well. An ideal base to explore Glastonbury and afar! Nr Millfield! The space A truly relaxing space for anyone to enjoy, from those travelling alone, families, friends and couples. Nr Millfield School and Clarkes Village Outlet Mall. A Master bedroom with a Superking size bed and fitted wardrobes with integral drawers. A first floor bedroom with four single beds and a separate toilet and sink. The first floor also has a small lounge area with a sofa and wall mounted television along with a dressing table. The Jack and Jill bathroom design is inviting featuring a shower cubicle, WC and sink unit. The main hub of The Hut is the lounge area with fully fitted kitchen, QLED television with Sonos sound bar, electric wood burner, dining area and comfy sofas add to the overall cosy feel of The Hut. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, sink, ceramic hob, microwave and fan oven. The patio area overlooking the view with an outdoor dining table and chairs for six people is a great spot to sit back, relax, enjoy eating a meal together or to use as a place to read a book with a nice cup of tea. As you leave the property there are fantastic views of The Glastonbury Tor which change as the sun sets and rises. Truly breathtaking! The hosts are both welcoming and friendly, and will be happy to answer any questions that you may have when booking. HOUSE RULES GROUPS OF ADULTS No Hen/Stag parties please. Large groups of adults may be considered but will need to message me via Airbnb before booking and must not use the instant book option. Additional charges will be applied for large groups over 4 adults/families and for all male/female groups. Please can we be informed of the number of adults/adults & children and all ages at the time of booking or in your enquiry. DOGS We also request that only 1 dog per party can be booked with a charge unless agreed otherwise. Please note that your own area for your cars is within both fencing and a farm gate. This gate can be closed but you need to secure your own dog within that area if needed as the bottom of the gate does not go to the floor. We are not responsible for any animals that stay at The Hut. DRIVEWAY As mentioned in our listing, our driveway is a shingle sloped drive so please do be mindful when accelerating. The Hut is at the top of Hope House's driveway. You have your own gated parking for the duration of your stay. Please come in and out of the gates as you please. OUTSIDE SPACE The Hut has it's own outside patio/dining area. Please note that all garden areas and sports facilities are strictly private and are not to be used by any guests. INCENSE/CANDLES/BBQ No burning of any description inside The Hut please. This is a safety precaution. Please can we ask that outdoor disposable BBQ are avoided for health and safety reasons. LIGHTS/AIR CONDITIONING Please can we respectfully ask that lights and air conditioning are not left on unnecessarily in The Hut. And that they are switched off please when you leave The Hut for any reason and on check out. ELECTRIC CAR CHARGER We have a Zappi electric car charger which we will be happy for guests to use alongside our own charger requirements. We do charge a fee for electricity used. We charge 50p per kWh and you can take a photo of your KWh used to charge from your car and pay by bank transfer for any usage. RECYCLING In Somerset they are very strict rules when it comes to recycling. Please can we ask that all plastics go in the black stand alone bin. Cardboard in the internal pull out bin labelled cardboard, and non recyclables in the second internal pull out bin. You will also find a food waste bin in the sink with compostable bags. If any of the bins become full during your stay then please empty in the bin store at the bottom of the driveway. NEIGHBOURS/NOISE We live in a rural environment which is one of our selling points, so please do be mindful not to wake the sheep and cows. CHECK OUT Please can I ask that when you check out you strip any of the beds that you have used. Along with the towels, they can be left on the floor by the entrance. This help with the Covid required clean. We also ask for all bins/food waste to be left outside The Hut on departure. Many thanks. Guest access Guests have The Hut accommodation to themselves along with gated private parking. Turn into the sloped shingle/gravel driveway of Hope House and enter The Hut's own gated parking area.
