Two-story 128 m2 log cabin on the lakeside just one hour from Helsinki. The cottage has municipal water, indoor water on the ground floor, and air heat pumps. Cottage around 120m2 with a terrace. Access to the downstairs of the cottage is from the outside. Upstairs, room height approx. 4 m. Child-friendly beach area. In the summer, the rent includes 2 paddleboards and a rowing boat. Cleaning and towels are not included in the rental price. No life ve The space Downstairs The ground floor of the cottage was completely renovated in 2021. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm), a sofa bed for the smallest in the family (137 x 190 cm), a toilet, a large bathroom and a sauna that can accommodate five people at once. NOTE: Access from the upper floor to the lower floor is from the outside only. Upstairs The dining room, kitchen, living room and loft are located on the upper floor. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen, so you have to do the dishes on site. There is tableware for ten people, as well as a good selection of pans, pots and bowls. A coffee machine and glass teapots are available. The kitchen has an induction stove, an electric oven, a wood stove, a wood grill in the dining room, and a toaster oven in the living room. In the freezing cold of winter, the 40-year-old cabin can feel a bit chilly upstairs, so please equip yourself with wool socks and something other than a t-shirt and shorts. Loft Four beds with 80 x 200 cm matresses. The upper floor is largely still in its original condition and traces of the cottage's 40-year history can be seen. Everything is not really tiptop and the cottage has accumulated traces of living over the years, but it gives this place its own character. In the freezing cold of winter, the 40-year-old cottage can feel cool upstairs, so be sure to equip yourself with woolen socks and warm clothing. Terrace The property has a large 120m2 terrace on two levels. There is a hot tub (not included in the normal rent price) on the lower terrace, which can be rented for an additional fee of 130€/day and in winter 150€/day (1.11-31.4 and the maximum freezing point is - 12°). The payment is made through the Airbnb additional charge function. Please inform us of your wishes to rent the hot tub right away when booking the property. Hot tub cleaning is done by the guest. (In winter, due to the conditions, it is not always possible to rent a hot tub (forcr major), but if necessary, we can order a hot tub from another operator if they have them available (The host cannot promise this). The prices differ from those mentioned above and are always confirmed before renting from a guest) . Woods have to be purchased from trailer hot tub rental. Water fee 20€ paid to the host. The host reserves the right not to give an additional rent discount in these cases if the hot tub cannot be rented because the price of the hot tub is not included in normal cabin's price at the Airbnb. On the upper terrace, Cello's gas grill and a dining set for 6 people, as well as lovely nesting chairs, where you can enjoy the evening sun. (The gas grill and garden furniture will be removed for winter protection in November) Motion detector-operated outdoor lights on the terrace. Beach Child-friendly sandy beach and outdoor fire area. In summer, there is a rowing boat and two padel boards with capacities of 120kg and 140kg. There are no life vests at the property,. So bring your own life vests.The pier is taken out of use in the winter before the lake freezes. The cabin is located between the field area and the shore of the lake. The cottage has 150 m of shoreline and is located on a hectare plot. Approximately 20 meters of the shoreline have been sanded. Other important information Cleaning is not included in the rental price, so please clean the property according to the instructions before checking out. Hot tub is not included in the rental price. In winter and summer outside, you can see deer walking in the adjacent field, after which the cabin got its name, Kaurisranta.
