Rural cottage for 6 people with large pool

We do not accept any guest who has been recognized by ICC as being part of any Genocide or supporting one in the world. Cortijo "Almond" is a detached modernized cottage located in the heart of Sierra Nevada National Park. It has a large pool of 11 x 5 meters, close to Capiliera, Bubion and Pampaneira, is located in the heart of the National Park in Sierra Nevada . Its geographical location makes it a total retreat as well as a paradise for hikers, cyclist and horse riding lovers. The space Cortijos Rey Fini is an exclusive picturesque and unique retreat in the heart of Sierra Nevada National Park. At the altitude of 1500 meters above the Mediterranean sea, it is never too hot even in July and August. It provides a nice retreat for families, lovers, and special occasions! Its large garden provides ample area for children to play, swim, hike and wander about without any danger. The place is lovely in the summer months and the best month for hikers/ramblers would be April/May/September and October. There is a large swimming pool filled from a natural spring water stream. Please note that the swimming pool is shared between this cottage and 2 other detached cottages but you will hardly ever find other people by the pool as often guests spend a day at the beach or visiting Granada or hiking locally. The village of Trevelez, famous for it's cured ham, is only 4km away and the beautiful white villages of Bubion, Capilera, and Pampaneira are only 10 min away by car. Due to the rural location of the cottages we highly advise people take their own form of transport. 3 Bedrooms: 2 twins and one double (blankets, sheets and towels provided), one on ground floor. Bathroom: 2 bathrooms with Shower and bidet Kitchen:Crockery & Cutlery Provided, Gas Oven with 6 Hobs, Fridge/Freezer, Grill, Toaster, Washing Machine. Dining/Living RoomDining room table, Seating for 10 People, 1 Sofa, Fireplace The ground floor is accessible for people with mobility issues. Outside Barbecue Area, pizza and bread oven, Patio, table tennis, Seating area under cover, Parking, Balcony, Terrace, Shared Swimming Pool. There is a large grassed area in the garden with lots of space for adults and children. Also peaceful shaded area with various 500 year old chestnut trees, ideal for meditation, yoga and relaxation. Guest access The access to the cortijo (rural cottage) is easy and guests may wander anywhere in the extensive garden which borders the National Park which makes hiking accessible through the park without the need of a vehicle. The cortijo is several hundred metres from the road and accessed through a long driveway with 2 gates. Other things to note The breath taking views, the hikes and the beautiful garden will be something that the guests will remember for ever. If you eat meat and like Jamon Serano then the Cortijos Rey Fini are only 3 kms away from the capital of Jamon "Trevelez". Trevelez claims to be the highest village in Spain. Our ideal location makes it easy for guests who want to visit Granada or go to the beach for the day. There are also villages of great interest nearby including Capiliera, Bubion and Pampaneira. Both in Trevelez and Capiliera there is horse riding available. All villages offer lots of bars and restaurants where you can try local gastronomy as well as international food. Guests can prepare their own bread and pizzas in the clay oven behind the cortijo. Please note that we accept guests who want to bring their dog on the following conditions: The dogs do not enter any of the houses as we sometimes have guests who are allergic to animal hair. We have a large kennel where they can sleep overnight if needed. During the day they can be free in the garden but please note that we have 2 dogs which run free in the grounds.
