You have at your disposal an elegant air-conditioned apartment located on the 1st floor of Mas La Bastide des Lavandières in Canaules, located near Anduze (10 min), Nîmes (30 min), Uzès (30 min) and 1 hour from the sea. It is a Provencal farmhouse full of character built in 1850, tastefully renovated in a traditional style, but with all modern comforts. The surrounding countryside is great for hiking or cycling and the area is full of history and activities. The space This charming and refined 82 m2 apartment consists of a large living room (living room, equipped kitchen, dining room), 2 double bedrooms and a private terrace with barbecue. You have access to the Mas swimming pool and private parking. A baby crib is available upon request. There is a bathroom and toilet in the first bedroom and a bathroom and separate toilet next to the other bedroom. Guest access The accommodation is entirely at the disposal of guests. The pool at Mas La Bastide des Lavandières, shared with the other residents, is freely accessible. Other things to note Canaules is a small French village full of charm whose main activity is the cultivation of vines. It's a great base to explore the Cévennes and the charming little towns around if you can tear yourself away from the sparkling waters of the Mas de la Bastide pool. 50 m from the Mas, in front of the town hall, the village café welcomes you for lunch or dinner and for essential shopping. The medieval town of Anduze with its restaurants, small shops, activities for adults and children is very close. The famous Bambouseraie is a 15-minute drive away and why not get there by the famous Cévennes Steam Train? It leaves from Anduze and stops at the bamboo grove and at St Jean du Gard, made famous by the Stevenson Trail. Visit the Pont du Gard (30 minutes), the Roman city of Nîmes (30 minutes) with its many Roman monuments, including the best preserved arenas in the world. Also discover the prehistoric caves of Trabuc, the medieval castle of Tornac or the mining town of Alès. Gourmet lovers will enjoy the many wineries in the region and will be able to participate in the tasting sessions of Costières de Nîmes, Pic Saint Loup, wines from the Duchy of Uzès or the famous Clairette de Bellegarde. Golfers will find happiness on the grounds of Nîmes Vaquerolles, Uzès, or Ribaute-les-Tavernes, all within 30 minutes' drive.
