Railway Cottage in Bellingham, Northumberland

Railway Cottage is a historical 168 year old cottage nestled in the heart of Bellingham and Northumberland 's dark skies. It's ideal for couples and is pet friendly. It’s on the main street in the village, set back from the road. Pubs, shops etc are within walking distance. It is a superb base from which to discover and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Kielder Forest and the historic market town of Hexham are a short drive away. The cottage also backs onto an 18 hole golf course. The space Railway Cottage is very well equipped for your stay. It has one spacious bedroom upstairs, with a king size bed and a huge wardrobe. There is a bathroom upstairs with a large walk in shower and second toilet downstairs with wash basin. The floors are beautifully tiled throughout the cottage. Downstairs, there is a fabulous wood burning stove housed within the original fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, air fryer, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and microwave. You will receive a lovely welcome basket on your arrival. Other things to note We are pet friendly and accept one well behaved dog. We do politely request that you do not allow your dog upstairs or on the furniture. There is a smart TV in the living room where you can access your Netflix or Amazon Prime subscriptions as well as terrestrial TV. We often have deer visiting our garden which are beautiful to see.
