Welcome to an exclusive 3-floor townhouse with central and attractive location in Frogner, near Oslo city center. The house is newly renovated with entrance from Gange-Rolvs gate with limited traffic. You have access to a private terrace and garden facing south-west with sun from 2-10pm in summer. Shops, groceries, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, only 3-5 minutes walk to tram and bus. The house is located close to Bygdøy with nice beaches and hiking trails. 30min walk downtown. The space We are a family of three, Mats, Cecilie and William (3). We bought our dream home two years ago - an old townhouse from 1930 that hadn't been renovated since. We had to tear down almost everything, but kept the stairs, original wooden ceilings in the living room and dining area and the outer walls. During the course of one year we constructed a modern luxury home, with floor heating in all rooms, high-quality appliances and smart home lighting system, while maintaining the personality of the house and architectural curiosities like the ceiling windows on the second floor. ENTRY LEVEL This is the perfect family home. On the entry level there is ample space in the hallway for a stroller or bike. There is a bedroom (bedroom 3) and a complete bathroom with shower (bathroom 3), high-quality laundry room + technical room and storage. FIRST FLOOR The beautiful original oak staircase takes you to the first floor with open kitchen and living room with fireplace. From the living room you can access the private balcony and garden with outside dining area perfect for a family BBQ and two sun beds. Fully fenced in this area is ideal for little adventurers. In summer the sun will shine on this area between 2-10pm. SECOND FLOOR The master bedroom (bedroom 1) has been designed to resemble a luxury hotel room, with a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom (bathroom 1) with a double sink and double rain shower. On this floor there is also a kids bedroom with a crib and a single bed (bedroom 2) and a large office/TV-room with a double bed (bedroom 4). There is also a big bathroom with bathtub and rain shower (bathroom 2). Guest access You will have full access to the main house. There is one long term tenant living in a separate studio apartment on entry level (marked on the floor plans included in the pictures of the property). You will share a entry room, but the main house has its own proper entrance door with proper lock (Yale doorman). Other things to note We are big fans of Airbnb and have been using it for our travels for many years. We also used to rent out our previous apartment and have only gotten good reviews (5 stars).
