The Hideaway is nestled in the Wiltshire countryside on a four acre smallholding near to the foothills of Roundway Down. It is a self-contained 1st floor studio, adjacent to the hosts property, surrounded by sheep, donkeys, dogs, chickens, a pony and large African tortoise. The opportunity to feed the lambs during springtime can be arranged. *Guests are welcome to use the family pool during the summer months (June-September) as well as sauna, gym and onsite yoga classes (arranged after booking). The space The Hideaway is self-contained on the first floor with its own entrance, accessed via an external staircase. This access allows guests to come and go as they please. The Hideaway was designed and built in 2019 by the hosts and is modern, light and airy. It benefits from an open plan design with a separate bathroom with shower cubical. Sleeping arrangements are flexible. The super king bed can be separated to provide two single beds. In addition to this, there is a small double sofa bed (4 ft wide) suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. Travel cot available for 0-2 yr olds. The kitchenette is modern with a fridge, microwave, induction hot plate, kettle, Nespresso Coffee Machine and toaster for guests to prepare breakfast and small meals should they wish to do so. The family swimming pool is available to use between the months of June-September as well as the gym and sauna. You are welcome to book onsite private yoga classes for up to 4 guests, subject to availability for £50 per hour session. The Hideaway is set with in the beautiful Wiltshire Countryside with easy access to the M4. The Hideaway is located within the Village of Bromham and is within walking distance of a fantastic local pub, Indian restaurant and Bromham Cider Farm. Bromham boasts a village Butchers, selling local produce and essential groceries, in addition to a well-stocked Farm Shop with an abundance of local produce. The Hideaway is a short, scenic drive to the renowned National Trust village of Lacock; a historic village and popular film location. Castle Combe, Avebury Stones, Bath, Stonehenge, Longleat, GWR Steam Museum and Swindon Designer Outlet are all close by. Alternatively you can relax at the Hideaway, whilst watching the animals, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Guest access Guests have sole use of the Hideaway with designated parking, and a separate entrance. Within walking distance, there is a bus stop that can take you to the market towns of Devizes and Chippenham. Chippenham has a train station, with a regular service to the historical city of Bath and is on the main line from Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington. The Hideaway is ideally located for country walks and bicycle routes. One of which being Roundway Hill, that is accessible just a short walk along the lane. Bicycle repairs and maintenance is available from “The Bike Shed Wiltshire” which is located on the premises. There are bicycles available for hire and use around the Village. If you wish to bring your own bicycles, safe storage is available on site. Other things to note GUEST MANUAL The Hideaway has a guest manual with helpful information. The hosts aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. You will arrive to a Welcome Package consisting of the following: Grind coffee capsules, tea, sugar, sweeteners, milk, Jersey butter, bread and jam. Washing up liquid, tea towels, dish cloths, kitchen roll and toilet rolls are provided. Towels and toiletries are available for use during your stay. The WiFi code is located within the guest manual.
