This house (LA MAISON DES IRIS) offers you an extraordinary location in Southern Burgundy on the border with the Beaujolais. With direct access to world-class wines, beautiful landscapes, rich history and beautiful places. All this within cycling distance of famous wine villages such as Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé, Saint-Vérand, Vergisson and picturesque villages such as Milly Lamartine, La Roche Vineuse, Verzé. In June, July and August, the house is only rented from Saturday to Saturday. The space La maison des Iris dates from the 18th century and was renovated with great taste and care. The authenticity of the home was left intact, and modern conveniences were added for contemporary comfort. When you enter through the entrance gate, you enter the courtyard. In the walled courtyard, you can "live like God in France": relax in the lounge on the wooden terrace with breathtaking views of the vineyards, seek refreshment in the heated private pool (accessible from mid-May to mid-September and heated from June to the end of August), or enjoy a delicious meal with a glass of wine on the covered terrace. The lower garden of 12 ares belongs to "La Maison des Iris": here children can romp to their heart's content; there is also a parking lot for three cars. The main building offers every comfort for 8 people: four bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet, bidet, hairdryer. One bathroom and bedroom has access to a covered terrace. Note: Bedroom 3 is only accessible through bedroom 2. Provided that an additional fee is paid, there is the possibility to rent the upper floor of the outbuilding. This includes an extra large bedroom (bedroom 5) with an adjoining bathroom and toilet. Note: the outbuilding is always part of La Maison des Iris, but bedroom 5 is only accessible if you pay an additional fee. The additional cost depends on the rental period. There is also a fully equipped kitchen: a stove with extractor hood, a dishwasher, an oven, a fridge and a large fridge with freezer compartment, a Nespresso and coffee maker, a toaster and kettle. Also available: herbs and spices, kitchen utensils. Furthermore, there is a laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and a drying cabinet and a large freezer. WiFi is available in the house and partly in the walled courtyard. In the living room, which has direct access to the terrace, you can watch television, view tourist information about the region, read a book or socialize. The decor and furnishings reflect a pleasant mix of contemporary and traditional styles. So we have prepared the house for you to enjoy. Guest access There is a private parking space provided at the house that makes it possible to park two to three cars.
