Dorian House - Garden Room/parking/Wi-Fi/ peace

Dorian House is run by artists. We're located within Universal Farms, 2 km from Auroville, 7 km from Pondy. Guests can check in between 12 pm and 8 pm. You have access to the living space and a kitchen, which are shared with guests living in the other room. You will have a bedroom with private bathroom to yourself. PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE 7 KM AWAY FROM THE BEACH. Also, we don't provide food, but you have all the amenities to cook a great meal. Please read everything before booking. The space The space includes a sunken living room, kitchenette, two bedrooms with attached bathrooms. We have a piano in the living area which musical guests can play :) We live in the forest, so there will be spiders and lizards roaming about. We advise that you always lock the entrance door and gate when coming and going. This being rural Tamil Nadu, we are prone to power cuts, sometimes lasting all day. You will have a fan and light working in your room during these times. Kindly manage your expectations. We've built this home and we look forward to welcoming you. Come here to experience the bliss and peace that only being away from the city can give you. Guest access Guests are welcome to all downstairs. The common area and kitchen are shared spaces between the guests in the two rooms given out. A washing machine is available to do laundry. The clothes will have to be put to dry upstairs on the terrace. You can come up any time to dry the clothes. Pegs are usually on the dining table upstairs. During your stay My partner or I will be available for any queries or needs Other things to note Dorian House is a residential home and not a hotel. Please share your travel plans with us in advance so that we may serve you in the best possible way. Rooms can be cleaned every day except Sunday. We have two dogs, so, we hope you like animals. The iron and ironing board are also upstairs. Just inform and come up to use it. The terrace is a large part of the home, which you can use for drying laundry, or doing yoga even (highly recommended). Library books can be read within the premises of Dorian House; they cannot be taken outside. Getting around without your own vehicle or a rented one will be very tough.
