The apartment is the former refectory of Saint-Séverin church priests, that is located in front of the building. This Gothic style church built during the middle age will allow you to admire XIV century stained glass artwork. The XVII century apartment is on the first floor, has terracotta tiles and exposed beams. It faces an interior courtyard. It has an incredible 4m high ceiling giving a specific touch and impression of volume. The apartment is made of a large sunny living-room, equipped with a sofa, easy-chairs and a flat screen TV, a bedroom with Queen size bed (140*190cm) and many storage, an enclosed mezzanine with a bed (120*190cm), a cabinet with a convertible sofa (120*190cm) and a large storage, a modern kitchen fully equipped and a bathroom with a bathtub. The kitchen is functional and modern, it will allow you to prepare and take your meals at home if you wish to. All equipment is new and good quality: dish-washer, oven, microwave, induction hobs, toaster, filter coffeemaker, kettle. Kitchenware and basics (salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee) are there to meet your needs. The loft is located in the heart of the latin quarter, in a pedestrian area between Saint-Michel boulevard and Saint Jacques street. At walking distance from Notre-Dame cathedral, Ile de la cité, Odeon, the Sorbonne. It is very easily accessible in public transportation: many buses stop nearby, metro line 4 and 10, the B and C RER train lines. In addition taxi station, bicycle station (velib) and car rental station (autolib) are 2mn away. If you come with a car, several parkings are located nearby (Saint Michel, Notre Dame, Lagrange). The touristic open rooftop bus (OpenTour) is located 20m away from the building. The apartment is very near many shops open 7days a week; till 22h00. In addition a market in Place Maubert where you will find fruits and vegetables, cheese, meat and fish, occurs 3 morning per week.
