Old Farmhouse, Gwithian Retreats -views of Godrevy

This charming cottage is furnished to high standard and is the perfect rural retreat for a family holiday, or to relax near the beach and coast path. The Old Farmhouse is situated on a peaceful working farm, and enjoys extensive views of the sea, Godrevy lighthouse and almost 360 degrees of surrounding farmland. Up to 2 dogs are allowed to stay too and join in the fun! The space Downstairs - Entering through a generous sun-trap conservatory, well equipped with comfortable chairs, you reach the living room. This has an open log fire, an ornamental range cooker, and comfy sofas. The light, bright kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, with plenty of storage. There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and a downstairs lavatory. The dining room has another ornamental fire with a beautiful Welsh dresser, and a table with 6 chairs. Parking for two cars and a private enclosed garden with a picnic bench to relax and enjoy uninterrupted sea views towards Godrevy lighthouse and soak up the amazing sunsets. Entry to the property is via a key safe. Upstairs - there is are three bedrooms all with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Bedroom 1 - has a king size bed Bedroom 1 - has a super king bed (can be made up as two singles if required - please get in touch if you would prefer this configuration at the time of booking) Bedroom 2 - has a king size bed Bedroom 3 - has two single beds Adjacent to the bedrooms is a large family bathroom which has an oversized bath and separate shower. Other things to note Guests in tents in the garden or guests/extra guests in mobile home/vans is not permitted. The farm is a working farm, so occasionally you may a tractor out and about working but only at sociable times! We currently have a few Jersey cows, who are very lovely. They will want to say hello, and are very curious! We live next door to The Old Farmhouse but are there as little or much as you need us. The wi-fi is complimentary and is satellite based - most the time good speeds but can not guarantee. We are on a private water system which can effect the pressure of the water coming out of the shower. We are unable to charge electric cars at the property as it is old and can not cope with extra load. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate personal requirements for bedding. Please contact us if you would like to know what tog duvet if provided. Mobile signal for some providers can be limited so guests may need to use wi-fi calling instead. There are restrictors on the windows (for safety) to stop them opening fully There is a step down into the upstairs bathroom and steps within the kitchen.
