[A second room is available] Welcome to cyclists! This character house, dating from 1592, survived the bombings of June 1944. It is close to shops and restaurants in Agen. Downtown Saint-Lô, train station, cinema, theater, restaurants within walking distance. Towpath (Vélomaritime) 600 m away. Surrounding area: swimming pool, horseback riding, water sports. Ideally located between Nord Cotentin, Mont-Saint-Michel Bay and landing beaches. The space Room for 1–2 people. Breakfast (hearty) is included. Possibility to heat up catering dishes in the microwave (the living room is available to eat). Dishes provided. The La Laitière room ("La Laitière Normande" is a statue located in Place de la Mairie, in Saint-Lô) is on the first floor of the house. Refurbished in the spring of 2021. It has a 140 bed, a wardrobe, a table with chair, a bedside table, a dressing table, a side cabinet with kettle (tea, coffee, infusions, sugar). The bathroom (large shower, double sink) and toilet are on the landing, shared with a second bedroom. Cleaning done at the end of the stay. €5 during the stay. Linen changed at the end of the stay. €5 during the stay. Washing machine: €5 (machine operated by the owner) There is a dog and two cats, isolated, if necessary, in another part of the house. Guest access A convenience store, two bakeries, two pharmacies, a bar/newsagent, a florist, two hairdressers, a beautician, the Post Office, two restaurants, two banks, a physiotherapy practice are a 5-minute walk and the medical center is 10 minutes away. Allow 15-20 minutes to walk to downtown Saint-Lô. The Haras and the equestrian center are 3 km away. Traffic is light, a little denser between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. No paid parking in Saint-Lô, everything is in the blue zone. Map and documentation available. The nearest beach is 30 km away, Caen is 45 minutes by highway. Other things to note Garden (Chilean, table, chairs and barbecue), terrace, large courtyard (possibility of entering a van or a small two-horse truck).
