The space Cherry Blossom is a place to slow down, reconnect and simply enjoy the countryside together. Tucked away down a country lane (yet only 5 minutes from the A30) it's your sanctuary away from it all and the perfect place to spend your family holiday! Inside you’ll find: * Two welcoming bedrooms: a king room with no footboard (ideal for taller guests) and a cosy twin with a snug armchair, perfect for bedtime stories with mugs of hot chocolate. There's plenty of storage space and a useful desk for anybody who needs to work whilst you're away. We can supply a travel cot as well if you request one when booking. * A fully fitted kitchen makes mealtimes easy with everything you need to prepare late breakfasts, quick snacks & special family meals. There's a full size fridge freezer and a washing machine and we can supply a highchair too so it's just perfect for families! * The sunny, comfortable living room invites you to unwind with a cuppa on the large sofa and open the patio doors to watch the cows in the field while children and dogs play happily in the garden (fenced with stock fencing). * Unwind after long walks and fun beach days with a hot shower then sink into large, soft, fluffy towels ready to relax for the evening. * Evenings and rainy days are taken care of with a selection of books, games and a TV so you can enjoy a family games night to keep everybody entertained. * Step from the living room straight out onto the patio for some fresh country air, then wander into the shared meadow for a final dog walk before bed. If you prefer you can simply stay put, soak up the views, listen to birdsong, and enjoy alfresco meals as the sun sets. Once the children are tucked up, settle down for a peaceful, star-filled evening in the garden—often with a visit from our very friendly cats. Cherry Blossom is semi detached and one of 4 cottages available at Frythens Cottages. The neighbouring Wren's Nest, Tilly's House and Bank Barn can also be booked through Airbnb (click my profile pic for info). Adventure awaits with so many places to visit nearby: * Those wishing to get out and explore will be spoilt for choice between the North and South coasts with several sandy beaches within a 10 minute drive, Marazion, Perranuthnoe, Praa Sands and Hayle to get started! * The ancient market town of Marazion with St Michael’s Mount is under 4 miles away. Boasting a long sandy beach, a medieval castle and breathtaking views, it’s a must visit during your stay. * St Ives is easily accessible and definitely worth taking the short train journey via the branch line from St Erth Station (a 5 minute drive away), taking in the fantastic views across Hayle’s 3 miles of golden sands along the way. When you’re there you can enjoy the many art galleries and shops as well as take in the sea air or book a trip on one of the sightseeing boats from the harbour. *Other popular places nearby include Land’s End, Porthcurno, The Minack Theatre, Porthleven and Penzance to name but a few. There are also several National Trust properties and gardens to visit including Trengwaintion, Godolphin, Glendurgan and Penrose. Guest access The whole cottage and garden will be yours to enjoy and relax in for your stay. You'll conveniently find onsite parking so unpacking after your journey will be easy and you'll be able to spend more time having fun! All our guests are very welcome to spend time in our 2 acre meadow (this is shared with guests in our other cottages). Here you can walk dogs, play ball games, relax under a tree, have a picnic or perhaps enjoy a spot of star gazing. Other things to note One dog is welcome (charged at £30 per stay), if you would like to bring a second dog please just ask. Please do not leave dogs unaccompanied in the property or let them onto the furniture or in the bed. On arrival you'll find a few essentials just to get you started, some tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar and milk so you can have a brew and unwind before you've even unpacked. If you're planning a supermarket delivery then this should not be a problem as Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco have all delivered to Frythens before. If you would like to use our travel cot (please bring your own bedding) or highchair then just let me know and I'll put them in the barn ready so you'll have more space in your car for all the fun things! To easily enjoy exploring the local area we recommend you have use of a car. After a busy day exploring you can escape back to Frythens and the countryside away from the hustle and bustle. We neighbour a working farm so you are likely to see animals in the next door fields.
