Farm stay at Monte Frio Alpacas.

Monte Frio Alpacas is located in a calm village in the district of Aveiro. Near by, you can find pristine beaches, hiking trails, lakes and the historic city of Aveiro. The farm house is circa 1930s and offers three spaciouse guest bedrooms, that share a large living room with a kitchen. We welcome you to enjoy our outdoor living area with bbq and patio, where you may encounter our alpacas, dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. Join us and connect with the tranquility of nature. The space The house is a self contained unit attached to the main house in a smallholding in a quiet village outside the city of Aveiro where our family live with our 4 dogs, 2 cats, 7 Alpacas and 3 chickens. The Alpacas are out grazing during the day unless they are trekking or entertaining our farm visitors. The house has 3 bedrooms one en suite and 1 bathroom shared by the other 2 rooms. There is a kitchennette asxwell as an outside dining and barbeque area. The village cafe/bakery and tiny shop for basics is a 5 minute walk away and a supermarket a 20 minute walk away. In the village within a short walk you have a bakery-cafe and a small supermarket. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and certain parts of the garden including the barbeque area. The farm area is off limits except during supervised farm visits. Other things to note Our guests are invited to arrange a 30minute supervised visit to our alpacas free of charge. A 2.5hr alpaca experience and workshop can be booked in advance for Thursdays and Saturdays at the cost of €24 per adult and €16 for children of ages between 3-18yrs. We also offer a choice of workshops where you can create your very own hat, socks or scarf with their incredibly soft wool. Registration Details 122691
