Beautiful Cabin on the River near Midland

Our cabin-like home on a peaceful, lovely river feels like a luxurious resort in the remote north woods but is only 15 min. from Midland. We are 10 min. from Beaverton. The guest area in the basement includes a private bedroom with queen bed, private bath, private den area with TV, games, kitchenette with microwave, fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The guest area walks out to the patio/river. There is a gas grill, fire pits, floats and kayaks. The space The guest quarters are located in the walkout basement of our home, so there are stairs to climb. The basement can be coolish so we recommend bringing layers to wear in case you need it. This is our home, so we are on the premises. The river setting is very secluded peaceful and great for fishing, floating, watching wildlife or just relaxing. We also have a very friendly and loving cat. Other things to note We request no smoking inside our house. Smoking outside is ok. Please respect quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am. Since the devastating flood of 2020, it is pretty challenging to kayak from our dock (due to shallow water and fast flow) so, if we can, we will offer to drive our guests up 1 mile to the spillway and drop them off with kayaks and they can take a leisurely kayak down to our house, which takes about 30 mins. Hopefully, by 2025 or 2026, the dam will be repaired and we will be able to kayak from our home. The floats can be attached to our dock and you can just lie there and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
