A few minutes drive from the Glen Eden train station and the Titirangi village, this cottage is set away from a quiet cul de sac road and looks out over the Kowhai Reserve wetland. Peaceful and private with everything you need for a short or long stay. Explore the West Coast beaches, the native forest, the local Titirangi village culture or hop on a train to the CBD, this location is ideal for leisure or business travellers. The space The cottage is set away from the street and is the first floor of a double storey unit. The second floor is a studio loft, which is listed separately and has its own external entrance. The main house is front is rented out to tenants. The space is generally very peaceful and private with beautiful views out over the wetland where you can enjoy sundowners from the hammock or the deck. In winter, we have a great Daikin heat pump that keeps the place warm and toasty and on those sunny winter days, you can soak up the rays out on the deck. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a Breville coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, filtered water and fridge. We provide complimentary coffee, teas, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, and muesli. Guest access The garden between the units are part of the main house, however, the cottage has a lovely deck with a trampoline exclusively for your use. Please be mindful of the privacy of the tenants in the main house, as far as possible. Other things to note Upstairs is a separate listing, usually booked out and it is a bit of a cabin so sound does tend to travel with the wooden floors - We ask all our guests to please be considerate with noise levels and be aware that heavy footsteps, high TV volume and loud voices can be a bit of an issue for some guests. Although we are ideally set up for 2-3 guests, we can accommodate an extra person, with a pull-out trundle bed in the second bedroom. Please make sure to specify the number of guests in your booking and let us know if you'll be needing the pull-out bed so we can have that ready for you.
