Fan & heater in each room, no A/C Hope to see you soon. The space You'll sleep well in this peaceful room on the 2nd floor... as long as you can navigate the STEEP STAIRCASE. Ideal for single guests or a couple sharing the double bed (extra charge/ guest/night to cover utilities). Make sure you add the correct amount of guests before booking). Comfortable full bed, north-facing window, closet, dresser, chair, clean sheets, pillowcases, towels. 2 bathrooms are shared and there's lots of hot water. Computer work station with good Wifi. No central AC, fan in the room. Guest access Shared kitchen for sandwiches/light meal prep. only - food delivery is quick and easy. NO stove-top cooking... but access to microwave, convection oven, toaster, tea kettle and your own shelf in the communal fridge. Shared library/living room, outdoor panoramic dining area, garden and front deck/porch for socializing and contemplation. Limited street parking, good public transportation nearby. During your stay We live on the property and take care of any issues promptly when you message Hali on the Airbnb app. There are 8 private rooms available (in a BIG house with sufficient bathrooms) and I personally ensure the kitchen and common areas are kept clean & tidy. Guests are asked to SMOKE outside on the scenic porch... which is also a great place to contemplate the inspiring scenery, enjoy the fresh air and/or chat with our other guests. Everyone's privacy is respected... we leave you to set the tone. We look forward to hosting you soon. Other things to note Perfect rest & relax zone. This is a big old peaceful house with a deep valley in the front and a wetland forest behind (nature’s oxygen factory). We're happy to share our place with pleasant people, so good manners & respect for others is important. REMEMBER smoking is permitted out on the porch while enjoying the view, so please be OK with that.
