Description
This great caravan is parked about 37 km outside Tromsø. It's perfect if you need a quiet place to sleep when you're looking for the northern lights or to explore the area outside Tromsø. The caravan cannot be moved. If Freddy is free and the weather is nice, it is possible to use his hot tub which is filled with clean fresh arctic seawater. Ask about this before arrival or when booking if this is of interest. Hot tub and barbecue hut cost extra. The space The caravan is parked in a rural peaceful location with little traffic. The place is perfect for those who want to relax and have nature right next to you. This is a perfect starting point for hiking. For those who like animals, we have quail, ducks, geese and cats here. The carriage is fully equipped with beds, linens, towels, kitchen with gas hob and stove, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Guest access There is parking on the property if you have your own car. The bus only runs a couple of times a day, so it is highly recommended to have a rental car. If you do not have a car, you must ask Freddy before you book if he is able to pick up or drive back to the airport, trips or other things. Freddy has work next to Airbnb, and it may not be possible for him to be available to drive every day while you're here. Other things to note For those who like to fish salmon and trout, it is about 1 hour walk to Skittenskardvattnet and Nordelva. Fishing for salmon and trout in fresh water requires a fishing license that can be purchased online. Dirty scards water is open for fishing in both summer and winter, but in winter, of course, the fishing will depend on whether the ice is safe. All fishing in the sea is free, also fishing for salmon and trout and also no fishing license is required for deep sea fishing.
