Also the City of Ferndale has the noon alarm that goes off every day at 12:00 p.m. The perfect way to keep track of time. If you hear the alarms outside of that time frame, it is to notify the local volunteer fire department about a local issue. Remember, Ferndale is a dairy farm community, the cows will moo and love to come close for a photo op or a snack of grass. Such a wonderful farmland experience! Please note that since we are in farmland, the farmers sometimes plow their fields and we do experience occasional farm and agriculture aromas. This happens very seldom, but we are in farmland and is to expected.
