2-Bdrm N.Umpqua River, Glide, OR- Gated & Private

This listing is for our 2-bdrm unit for $195 in Glide. (2-night minimum.) We also have a listing for a 1-bdrm, $130. Our children are grown & gone, we have space (with a gated entrance) to share with you during your travels. The famous N.Umpqua River is our front yard offering great fishing. We are close to Crater Lake, Umpqua Valley wineries, hiking/biking trails, waterfalls, and the Oregon Coast. Join us in this magical setting - sit by the river and take in the peacefulness. The space Our 2-bdrm space is intended for a family or for 2 couples traveling together. The rate for our 2-bdrm unit is $195 with a 2-night minimum. (We also have listed a 1-bdrm unit for $130.) Each bedroom has a queen bed & ceiling fan. The front bdrm. offers an incredible view of the river and has a desk, window-seat/bed, extra space-heater & chairs. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes & silverware. The large bathroom has a double-sink vanity and a shower/tub combo. Guest access You'll have a separate, private keyed entrance to your bedrooms, kitchenette and bath. You are welcome to enjoy the picnic area & BBQ, sit by the river to read, paint, watch wildlife or nap. You may fish from the bank of the North Umpqua River (licenses required), build a small campfire in our fire pit (fire restrictions may apply), play horse-shoes, badminton, or shoot hoops. You'll have plenty of room for parking. During your stay We will usually be here to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. A "Welcome Treat" awaits you. From our home in Glide you can enjoy a multitude of activities. There is something for everyone: Fishing (including great fly-fishing water), hiking to the many waterfalls, trekking along the North Umpqua Trail or tackling Mt. Theilsen. The Umpqua Valley has over 30 wineries and some beautiful tasting rooms - The Southern Oregon Wine Institute is located in Roseburg. If you enjoy golfing, there are 2 public 18-hole golf courses, 1 9-hole course, and a world-class disc golf course nearby. Crater Lake is an hour & a half to the east on Hwy 138, and the Oregon Coast is about an hour & a half to the west.
