This stylish, cosy and romantic Log Cabin is located on a family run private estate nestled in the heart of the Blackdown Hills AONB on the Somerset & Devon border. Our Cabin is perfect for couples who want to retreat and unwind amongst the best of the British Countryside. It features your own private log fired hot tub overlooking the stunning woodland views. Whether you're watching the sunrise or looking up to the stars you'll find yourself never wanting to leave this nature haven. The space This 40 year old Cabin has just been fully renovated to a luxurious and high standard couple’s retreat. Complete with Wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with heated flooring and a roll top bath and shower unit. The bedroom features a king size bed and French doors opening onto the veranda where you can pass the time come rain or shine on the porch swing and experience the very best the Somerset countryside and wildlife have to offer. Linen, towels, robes and a hair dryer are included to help make your stay more comfortable and stress free. There is a SMART TV provided in the sitting room where you can snuggle into the sofa whilst enjoying the log burner or why not head over to the two rocking chairs with a book and rock away any worries as you ponder lighting up the firepit and indulging yourself with some outdoor comforts. Don’t forget to pack your wellies! We provide tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk. And there is a Bosch Coffee Machine with free coffee pods and hot chocolates. The Cabin is 15 minutes from the M5 and A303 and 2 hours by rail from London. NOTE: If you are booking between the months of October - end of January there may be a short 20 minute disturbance as there is a live pheasant shoot that uses Burnworthy for one drive. Please contact us if you have any concerns or would like more information before making your booking. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE NO SMOKING in the cabin. Whilst there is phone signal on site unfortunately it is limited. We have provided a landline for emergency use only. You will find a Welcome book on arrival providing you with all the information you require for your stay including “How To” manuals for the Cabin and all interior and exterior appliances, as well local information for sightseeing, restaurants, pubs and other attractions. If you have any special requests or are staying with us for a special occasion please feel free to contact us and we would be more than happy to see if we can assist you with your plans. Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out is 10:00 am. Late check-in and check-out is subject to availability. Additional charge of £30 for dogs. Please contact us if you wish to bring your dog(s).
