Guest access Sigtuna is a picturesque Medieval town of 8,000 inhabitants, founded in AD 970 by King Erik the Victorious, making it the first town in Sweden. Today we can go back in time and visit medieval churches, ruins, castles and rune stones from the Viking Area. They are all part of Swedish history and well worth a visit! Transportation: – To Stockholm: Walking distance to bus stops. Bus to train and then commuter train to Stockholm city. Takes 50 mins approximately. – To Arlanda airport: about 20 minutes by car. Other things to note The owners of the house live in another part of the building. There is a dog in the main house (living with hosts)
