Manor Farm Cottage

A cosy comfortable refurbished 19th century cottage on the north east of the New Forest, with an Aga, a log fire and a few quirks. Pets welcome by arrangement. Many New Forest walks, cycle routes and attractions nearby including Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals, Peppa Pig World, the River Test, Mottisfont Abbey and the Solent. The space Kitchen with Aga, sitting room with inglenook fireplace and suspended Italian wood burner, oak frame garden room and loo on ground floor, up wooden stairs to main bedroom, smaller bedroom and bathroom. Good wifi, ethernet and TV system in main rooms. Guest access From the french windows surrounding the garden room the cottage garden can be accessed with a sheltered terrace, BBQ and 6 seat table & chairs. Dog owners please note that the garden is not fenced and as we have free range fowl and farm animals in neighbouring fields we do ask that all visiting dogs are kept on leads around the property. Guests are able to walk along the path by the river and, subject to farming activities, may also be able to walk across the farm's fields and woods. Other things to note The farmhouse and cottage share a drive. There are lots of books and games around the cottage, some spare wellies about if you forget them, a piano and a small games table in the garden room. We have dogs and cats in the farmhouse, horses in the farm yard and fields, free range hens, Guinea fowl and doves.
