Shared access to home gymnasium and washer/dryer combo. Entry and exit is through the garage, so you'll have no daily interaction with the hosts unless so desired. The space includes a brand new kitchenette, newly renovated modern private bathroom, new furniture, and new hardwood flooring. Wifi and Verizon cable are included. A virtual reality experience is now included and available for guest use with host supervision, in the gymnasium area. The experience consists of a Valve Index VR headset, Kat Walk Mini omnidirectional treadmill, and bHaptics sensor vest, and variety of VR games. With prior coordination the host can set up the experience for each guest. Guests have access to private bathroom and studio apartment area with kitchenette. Entrance and exit will be through the basement gymnasium area which is a a shared use space. Guests may use the upstairs washer and dryer as well, which is also a shared use space. Guests are unlikely to see myself or my family except if we are using the basement gymnasium area, typically between 6:00pm and 8:00pm on weeknights. Guests have a locking privacy door between the gym and the studio apartment. A quintessential bedroom community of upper-middle-class single-family homes. In good weather the neighborhood is full of walkers, joggers, cyclists, and children playing outside. There is a 24/7 convenience store approximately 0.7 miles away, and a larger shopping complex approximately 3.8 miles away, containing a grocery store, nail salon, stylist, six restaurants, and miscellaneous other shops and services. The closest bus stop is approximately 0.6 miles away on Waterway Drive. This stop is primarily an express bus to the Pentagon and back.
