Relax in our countryside cottage surrounded by gardens and fields. The coach house is in the grounds of Grade 2 listed old rectory but is entirely detached and private from the main house. Just a short drive to attractions like Longleat, Stonehenge and Centre Parks. Close to the beautiful city of Bath and arty towns of Bruton and Frome with their galleries, cafe-life and independent shops. Enjoy fresh eggs from our hens and warm your evenings with the wood-burning stove. The space This stylish, airy property offers an ideal escape. The cottage is the former coach house of the old rectory and it has been lovingly restored retaining exposed wooden beams throughout. Downstairs has a large open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove and big comfy sofas to relax in. This is adjoined by the dining area and well-appointed kitchen. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and plenty of space for your muddy boots! Take the stairs up to the spacious first-floor master bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed and views over the old walled garden. A separate bedroom has twin beds. Marvellous bathroom with shower and bath. Guests have use of the gardens and orchard, including a campfire by arrangement. Plenty of space to wander and enjoy the countryside or sit deliciously doing nothing! Guest access Plenty of space for off-road parking, countryside walks all around. A short drive to local shops, galleries, farmer's markets, pubs and restaurants in and around Frome. Easy access to historic cities of Bath and Salisbury, and a great location to reach gorgeous local towns of Bruton and Wells. So many places of interest are within easy reach: Lacock, Avebury, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge, Stourhead, Castle Combe, along with countless National Trust locations. The close proximity makes a day trip to the Newt, Hauser and Wirth or Longleat effortless. Fabulous farm shop, delicatessen and cafe just 5 minutes away. Perfect! All sheets and towels are laundered thoroughly at high temperatures with quality non-biological laundry soap. The great independent makers/farmers market in Frome on the 1st Sunday of the month is an added bonus - if it coincides with your stay.
