Private Waterfront Cabin

Our cool and comfortable guest cabin to the property's main house sits on the tidal basin of the Mill River off the Penobscot Bay. Queen size bed, big porch overlooking the changing tides w/ only nature in view. Small kitchenette, standup shower, and a croquet court! Nearby trails, access to dock to launch a paddleboard or kayak, quarries on the island for swimming, and a handful of great restaurants to choose from, even a speakeasy! The space The cabin and the property are open for you. Access to the dock to launch any of your floaties, kayaks or paddleboards, 1 mile dirt road into the property, is maintained throughout the year so cars shouldn't have a problem. Vehicle is a must to get to the property, town is about 6 miles away. You can, but don't have to, make a ferry reservation in Rockland but can also show up at anytime and get on the standby line to get onto the island.
