Lake District Luxury 6 Bedroom Home with Hot Tub

With 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 adults plus 6 children (sharing doubles) the Greenhouse at Skelwith Fold offers a stay like no other for your group or family. 4 king-size bedrooms are located downstairs while another double room is located upstairs just off the "kids room" featuring 3 low "small double" beds. Well situated to explore the South Lakes you may choose to never leave the Greenhouse and just enjoy the entertaining space, kitchen which is a chefs dream, hottub and fresh Lakeland air. The space The Greenhouse features 6 bedrooms in total making The Greenhouse perfect as a countryside get together location for friends and family. The Greenhouse is not a space for parties where noise levels could disturb our neighbours, however, it is a wonderful space in which to make memories and be together with loved ones. Four of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with accessible access into the house. Kingfisher, the master suite, has a luxury super-king bed. The well designed ensuite bathroom has a shower over the bath so you can choose to have a long soak, or refreshing shower. Badger is our second luxury super-king room. This bedroom is suitable for a wheelchair user with an accessible wet room with shower (seat and hand rails). The room also has an emergency exit with a ramp to the exterior. The two other downstairs rooms, Squirrel and Fox, provide luxury king size beds with ensuite, with shower over the bath. Upstairs leads to Mouse, a cute attic room which the children love. It has 3 low small-double (4 foot) beds, accommodating up to 6 children (with 2 in each bed). Finch, our other double bedroom is accessed through Mouse, but can be locked for privacy. This is an attic room with sloping ceiling, and has a low king size bed. It has a lovely big window and charming feel, and has its own ensuite bathroom with separate shower and bath. We would generally recommend this room is taken by family members as the children share the bathroom. Due to the sloping ceiling we do not recommend this room for very tall people. Along the corridor is the play/television room which gives the kids and teens their own place to relax, which has a separate WC (ideal for those staying in Mouse). All of our bedrooms have their own comfort heating, and can be locked individually by keys if required. The luxury curtains and blinds give a near black out, which along with the comfortable beds and fresh air in the day, ensures a good nights sleep. We like to keep our neighbours in the Hamlet and the holiday park happy so must insist that noise is kept to a modest level and then to an absolute minimum from 10pm. Thank you. Guest access The Greenhouse is owned and managed by Skelwith Fold Caravan Park and situated off a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of the site. Please check in directly with Reception. Follow the B5286 which will bring you to our main entrance. The Greenhouse guests can enjoy the best of both worlds during a stay at our holiday cottage – a secluded Lakeland setting and full use of the holidays parks facilities (1st March to mid-November), just next door. Facilities include over 100 acres of woodland to explore, shop, trust library and two children’s play areas. The Greenhouse guests will receive check in instruction on the morning of arrival but are welcome to check in at Skelwith Fold Caravan Park reception where one of our friendly team will give you information and direct you to your holiday cottage. The reception team can answer any questions you have during your stay. They can also offer suggestions of things to see and do in the local area. There is a private entrance. There is a driveway leading to parking for several cars. Other things to note Six woodland themed en suite bedrooms. Exciting games room with football table, board games, books and TV. Large kitchen space with two american style fridge/freezers, two ovens and hobs, ample cutlery and crockery, dishwasher and seating. Large living space with ample seating, large smart TV and wood burning fireplace Utility room provides a washer, dryer and vacuum. In the garden area, you will find a private hot tub, large gas BBQ and ample outdoor seating plus boot wash!
