Description

Just remodeled and updated! Originally designed by Contemporary Artist, Willie Ray Parish. A huge, paradoxically cozy space, ideal for the traveling couple with a single Queen sized bed; it occupies approximately 1600 square feet on the top floor of a former cotton gin warehouse surrounded by a 2-acre Permaculture experiment. It is the private "Penthouse Apartment" amidst multiple communal and shared spaces on the property. Creative touches everywhere you look. A truly unique experience. The space This is one of the most creatively inspiring spaces you could hope for. It has been an Art residency and is best described as Sculpture you can live in. The floor plan is open with a full kitchen, dedicated work spaces, and lots of natural light. Guest access This space is upstairs. The Apartment occupies the entire upstairs with the exception of a storage room at the farthest end from the entrance. The storage room shares a (locked) door to the apartment but also has its own separate access, so the apartment is completely private. Other things to note Please take note: We allow pets of various types in the apartment, so if you have allergies related to pets, this is not a good place for you to stay. On a related note, this apartment occupies the top floor of an old cotton gin warehouse surrounded by rural farm land. Unsurprisingly, field mice have occasionally infiltrated the building. We make every effort to shore up the defenses against these "neighbors" including snap traps inside unused cabinets, etc.. But we do not use any poison because we do not want any pets that guests bring to get sick. Please take reasonable precautions against your pets getting their snoots snapped.
