This cozy cottage is perfect for families, fishermen and everyone in between. Need to get away from the city for a weekend? Scheduling a much-needed girls trip? Or do you want to enjoy family time without distractions? Maybe the guys want to do a fishing and poker retreat. This is for YOU. We have an abundance of space, board games, comfortable spaces and a large property for playing croquet and for trailer parking. We are ready to make your time here memorable. The space I've always wanted a cottage to be close to home, so it'd be a quick getaway from the city and work. It's peaceful on the dock watching the ducks, fish and other wildlife while sipping my coffee (or cocktail!). However, it must be noted that the dock and deck area are in great need of replacing. Deck chairs were just replaced (2025) and there is a comfy screened-in porch. My husband loves fishing, boating, water sports, ice fishing, snowmobiling, you name it. He's an outdoorsy kind of guy, so he chose this location because it's close to our home in Windsor and far enough to pursue his hobbies. Guest access The only area that you won't have access to is the garage. It's a mess in there with my husband's seasonal 'toys'. Everything that you would need, will be available to you, I promise. Other things to note If you have your own boat, there's a free boat ramp a block away. Three 21-foot boats can be docked. There are life jackets for use when taking the kayaks and canoe out on the water. You can buy bait at the corner store. We have a few wetsuits and water socks, if the lake is chilly. Beach towels are available, but there isn't a sandy shoreline in the area. There are out door games like cornhoke, croquet and badminton. Winter vacations are also popular; the lake is great for ice fishing and snowmobiling. The cottage will have amenities like home: Coffee, tea, condiments and other much-needed provisions, bathroom necessities you may have forgotten, hairdryer, extra pillows, blankets and towels. You name it. Except for wifi. There is a ROKU attached to the TV, so you can use data to log in to your Netflix, Disney, Prive Video, etc.
