Description

Immerse yourself in comfort at this stylish holiday cottage, located in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Southwold. Recently refurbished to a high standard, this is the perfect retreat for families or friends to kick back and relax. The cottage has two luxurious king size bedrooms and an equally comfortable twin room, all with en-suite facilities. Downstairs is an open plan living, dining and kitchen space with high end appliances and outside is a beautiful garden for al fresco dining. The space A lovely three bedroom terrace house right in the centre of Southwold, Number Fifteen is just a five minute walk to the beach, Southwold Pier and the bustling high street, which boasts some gorgeous delis, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as the famous Adnams Brewery with its array of pubs serving its award winning beers, ales and gins. There is also Tibby’s Green just a hop skip and a jump from the front door, which has a playground, outdoor table tennis and a green space for little people. Number Fifteen sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. On the first floor the Master Bedroom has a luxurious King size zip and link bed with a 5900 pocket sprung mattress made from Egyptian cotton, with en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over). Next door is a Twin Room with full size single beds with 1300 pocket sprung mattresses made from bamboo fibres, wool and natural cotton and an en-suite shower room. Our favourite room is the Loft Room, which also boasts a super comfortable King size bed with a luxurious 4250 pocket sprung mattress made from Egyptian cotton, wool, hemp and flax and has a small en-suite with toilet and sink. You can enjoy an early morning cuppa in bed with the skylights open (hopefully looking out onto to blue skies!) and listening to the sounds of the seaside... (please note this room has sloping ceilings). All rooms have ample storage for clothes, with a selection of drawers, cupboards and hanging space. Towels and bedding are provided for all guests to use in the property. Please bring your own beach towels. Downstairs is open plan, which offers a really sociable space to relax after a busy day at the beach. A comfortable living area at the front of the property has three 2-seater sofas, footstool and cosy rug. There is a beautiful brick fireplace which gives the room heaps of character and a 32” TV with freeview and WiFi connection, so you can access your own streaming services for those of you with Netflix accounts or similar. The open plan kitchen and dining area is at the rear, with seating around a beautifully restored oak dining table and a brand new fitted kitchen with new integrated Bosch, AEG and Samsung appliances, including a fan oven, induction hob, extractor fan, large fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a downstairs toilet / utility room with a washing machine for guests to use and a utility cupboard with room for coats. An ironing board and clothes airer are available as well as a washing line outside for drying clothes or wetsuits after a day on the beach. There is a small courtyard immediately outside the kitchen with a bistro table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening G&T. Our beautiful garden then opens up to a large patio, lawn area and pergola with outdoor dining table, chairs and lighting. Perfect for al fresco dining. Please note there is a communal pathway between the courtyard and main garden, both secured with gates to be child friendly. Guest access On street parking available on St Edmund’s Road outside the property. Other things to note We are sorry but unfortunately due to allergies we are unable to accept any pets at the property. The property is strictly no smoking, no matches and no candles Please note that from mid July and throughout August we have a 7 night minimum stay policy with a Friday changeover day to accommodate housekeeping.
