The space Renovated in 2021 with new high quality carpets and paint throughout this cosy home has a heat pump (aircon) unit and a wood fire to keep you comfortable for your stay. The fully equipped kitchen comes with tea and coffee making supplies, a dishwasher, gas hobs, large electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, large fridge/freezer. The wooden cabinet under the TV has plenty of board games for young and old, an assortment of USB chargers, and serving platters for your wine and cheese evenings on the deck or in front of the fire. The Kitchen includes a breakfast bar (seats 3) and open’s up to the open plan dining/lounge area, with a small dining table and chairs (seats 4), one three seater couch, two comfortable occasional chairs and an IMG recliner with foot rest. The coffee table draws have some books and information pamphlets. Settle in on the couch to watch the large 50inch smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar and enjoy the countries channels, complementary Netflix, or cast from your device via the ChromeCast. All bedrooms have high quality beds purchased in 2021 and high quality memory foam pillows for a restful nights sleeps, along with bedside tables and lights. The two double bedrooms have wardrobes and drawers for your belongings. Both single bedrooms have draw space, one of which also has a toy box, toys in 2 draws, a bookshelf with children’s books and a child’s table and stools. The bathroom has a shower with great water flow, detachable hose head, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, a basin, toilet and cupboard with hairdryer and first aid kit. The hall cupboard contains an ironing board, iron, clothes horse, laundry basket, bucket with cleaning supplies, mop, Dyson vacuum cleaner, hot water bottles and extra duvets/ blankets. There is a laundry under the house (mind your head!) with a washing machine, and tub. The outdoor bath can be filled by the hose under the deck, and will need the gas bottle from the BBQ attached to heat. The lower covered deck has plenty of firewood for the indoor fire. Guest access On street parking right outside the property is free, and easy to access. (Overseas guests, please note that in NZ it is law that you must park your car facing the same direction that the traffic flows…. Eg- the passenger door opens to the footpath, the drivers door opens to the road.) There are stairs to enter the property. The property is on a hill, with a local shop and fish and chip shop, sports ground and children’s play park just a 3 minute walk down the road. Number 33 bus comes past every 30minutes (weekdays) and hourly on the weekends, and will take you to the city centre and beyond. The time table can be found online.
