The Little Barn Annex,tranquil countryside retreat

The Little Barn Annex is situated off a quiet lane in the hamlet of Three Ashes, between Monmouth and Hereford. It is in a great location for walking, cycling and not far for canoeing the river Wye, visiting an abundance of historic locations or exploring the forest of Dean. A beautifully renovated stone barn set in a tranquil countryside. It has been newly refurbished to give you the comfortable and relaxed feeling you deserve. Skenfrith castle, also the opportunity for cold water swimming. The space newly refurbished with exposed beams and handcrafted oak staircase. The little barn is the perfect place for a romantic get away, workcation or adventure based holiday. The super king size bed can also be set up as a twin bedroom and the sofa bed in the lounge can be set up as a double to sleep two people as well. Downstairs a fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room can be found, following the handcrafted stair case up to the first floor , you will find a light airy lounge area with views over the surrounding countryside, a large bathroom with shower over bath and the cosy bedroom. Outside is a lawned area with outdoor seating to take in the uninterrupted countryside views or enjoy a BBQ. There is parking for 2 cars alongside the annex. Guest access The annex is accessed via a private driveway (shared with the hosts who live adjacent ) There is space for 2 cars on a private drive. Other things to note There are 2 steps up into the property. We live on site and ask that you respect our privacy as we will yours, but we are very happy to help or advise should you need anything. Also having converted these two beautiful old barns we kept the owl wholes in both of them, so you may get a Glimpse of kestrels or owls.
