The space You’ll love our spacious 900 +-square foot upstairs suite with a bedroom, bath, coffee bar amd mini-kitchenette (sink, mini-frig and microwave only), foyer, and living room. It is newly remodeled and decorated with french-country inspiration and a sprinkling of Italy influence. There is a breakfast nook with a view of the mountain and all the other comforts of home. The walls are adorn, in part, with original art painted by the owner's late husband, an accomplished painter. Guest access Beyond the upstairs, guests have full access to our "slice of heaven" as previous guests have described it. Hike and explore the 18-acre parcel -- in the woods -- or take a bike ride on nearby country roads through the vineyards. Of course, guests are encouraged to enjoy other outdoor amenities -- the deck, barn and gazebo. Other things to note Nearby Calistoga in it's small town charm is full of wonderful eateries, wineries and shopping. Treat yourself to a massage or one of Calistoga's famous mud baths. For those of you who love a little nightlife, head to the Hydro in downtown Calistoga for a drink, a bite and some live music. Restaurant and winery recommendations available upon request. A bit of history: the house was built before turn of the century by a ship captain with a stagecoach stop just up the road.
